The Ins and Outs of Virtual Design

Hey, Y’all! This month has gone by SO much more quickly than January - we’re already over halfway through it! To celebrate that little victory and to wish you a belated Valentine’s Day, I want to share something near and dear to Ivory Lane’s heart (see what I did there??) on the blog today. So, grab those leftover red and pink cupcakes, and let’s jump right in!

What Is Virtual Design?

I’m sure if you’ve followed Ivory Lane Interiors for any amount of time now, you’ve heard the phrase “Virtual Design” mentioned. We LOVE this service because of its flexibility and budget-friendly nature! To paint a clear picture, we’re going to walk through a Q&A on the ins and outs of the service. Let’s start with a simple question you may have already had: “What is Virtual Design?”

Virtual Design with Ivory Lane Interiors is an interior design service that takes place TOTALLY remotely! We’re all familiar with Zoom calls and working virtually by now, but the process of this service is a little different. (Some of you will probably be relieved by that after almost a year of Zoom - whew!) We’ll get into exactly how Virtual Design works a little later on, but for now, the main point to keep in mind is that it provides the professional insight and results of an experienced Interior Designer without anyone ever entering your home. (And without YOU having to leave!) It’s also a budget-friendly option, which is a huge perk!

Who Is Virtual Design For?

The second question to address is: “Who is the ideal client for Virtual Design services?” This service can really be for a variety of clients, and there are a few main reasons why you may consider Virtual Design:

  • Do you ever just feel stuck or at a loss when it comes to completing your space?

  • Do you struggle to pinpoint a design style that’s right for you?

  • Do you feel as though you don’t know where to start to create a cohesive look for your space and to bring it all together?

  • Do you want the help of a professional in a way that’s totally hands-off for you and with a quick turnaround?

If you answered yes to any of these, Virtual Design is a perfect solution for you and your space! One of the reasons we love this service so much at Ivory Lane Interiors is that we can help you determine a vision and provide beautiful results in such a short amount of time.

What’s The Timeline for Virtual Design?

That brings us to the third question: “How long does Virtual Design take?” From start to finish, you’ll have a complete design package inside your inbox after just 3 weeks. So simple and quick! With that said, you’re probably wondering what those 3 weeks look like.

How Does Virtual Design Work?

Finally, the question we love the most: “How exactly does Virtual Design work?” Now that we’ve discussed what Virtual Design is, who it’s for, and how long it takes, here’s exactly what you can expect for the entire process:

  • Book a 15-minute consultation call with Ivory Lane Interiors to discuss your needs and goals, and we’ll determine if the service is right for you

  • Once we get started, you’ll upload your room measurements and photos of your space to our secure online portal

  • Inside that portal, you’ll also submit a questionnaire about your design style

  • Ivory Lane Interiors will carefully review the details you’ve provided and curate options specifically for your style and space

  • Within 3 weeks, you’ll receive the items below directly inside your inbox:

    • 2 design options

    • 2 furniture plans

    • Direct links to purchase the items we’ve recommended for you

And, that’s it! Virtual Design is a service that we’ve been so excited about since its launch last year, and because it’s one that we pour so much attention into with each client, it’s availability is LIMITED each month! Be sure to submit a Contact form on the website with any questions, and we can’t wait to chat with you more about this service. (Oh, and don’t forget to subscribe to the blog below so you don’t ever miss a beat here!)

Sending Love From GA,
